Abbie's arrival

So, we decided to go take a look at these pups, one boy and one girl, thinking this would be an initial viewing at best. If was 6th January 2008 and the puppers had been born on bonfire night 2007, making them just 9 weeks old.

Strange initial viewing this turnedout to be, though, as I filled my wallet up with the asking price in notes ... and we detoured en route to pick up a travel puppy crate ... there was going to be no turning back!

Well, we got to the breeder's house with a warm welcome, but there was a sad atmosphere around since there had been a recent bereavement in the family. This meant that they were letting go of their babies in an already emotional environment.

We had entered into the journey thinking in terms of picking the little girl dog, but the breeder's daughter brought out the boy dog first. Wow! He was brilliant white and a had a real attitude - definitely stamping his authority all over the place. I held the little fella while the girl went back into the back room to collect the girl dog ...

Well, that was IT!!!

This little bundle of fluff was brought into the room and she just looked GORGEOUS!!! In fact, this is pretty much what we saw:
